Have you seen the new Puffin Classics for children (and for adults who are children at heart)?
I am sure you have, and if you find yourselves in a bookstore, do not omit to take them off the shelf and hold them in your hand, it's the greatest feeling.
As for me, I couldn't resist posting them here,
although the pictures don't do them justice. It's the feel of holding a clothbound book that's just magical.
These books really don't need an introduction, do they?
Which one is your favorite?
Mine is Robin Hood, by far, (although Anne of Green Gables is a close second.)
I'll try to get my husband to buy it for me....
