Love Inspired Historical Covers

Recently, I do not buy as many Love Inspired Historical books as I used to, because I have been disappointed at the repetitive and really poor writing of a few ones I read last year, so I decided to take a break.
However, by visiting Amazon.com and CBD I found some totally delicious covers of upcoming books (most of them are not released yet) and decided I had to post about them.
I don't know if I will be reading all of them, but I am almost tempted to order them for the sake of their covers.

These are only a few of them.
Hmmm.... I'm beginning to see a theme here... too many brides?
Anyway, I just love these covers. Now, if only the actual books were guaranteed to be just as good...

Let me know what you think, and God bless :)

I love the covers but it is irritating that the banner on the book is in the way.

I love your blog and I'm so glad you think the up coming LIH covers are beautiful. I do too. I think the LIH art department does an amazing job every month. Like you, I hope the books are good on the inside as they are on the outside. lol

thank you so much for your comment, Carla, it was the best gift. as soon as I saw it, I shouted to my husband "one of my favourite authors left a comment on my blog!" I have been so blessed to have read some of your books and intend to read more....
I still haven't seen the cover for your next book, but I am sure it will be exceptional like the rest. God bless :)

what a compliment, Alexandra. I love your blog because you always give such complete reasons for why you love or don't like a book.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed my books and I hope you continue to like the others. :-) I don't know if I should ask, but if you'd like to review my new one, The Champion, I'd be happy to send you a copy when I receive my copies.

Either way, thanks again for highlighting the upcoming LIH covers. I've only seen an unfinished copy of The Champion's cover, but I thought it was excellent. Our art department really is so talented it's amazing. We're so blessed to have them.

wow!!! I almost went into hysterics after I read your new comment, Carla. now I am a bit calmer.... and I want to thank you once again for reading my blog, I still can't believe that you do!
I would be terribly honored and extremely excited to receive a copy of The Champion for a review!!!
you know, it is so exciting to get to know in 'real life' the authors you love, and I am beginning to think that you truly are a lovely person, even though I was already guessing that from your writing....
God bless you again, and have a wonderful and productive day :)

LOL You're are so sweet. Thank you! It's great getting to know you too. :-)

Just let me know where to send the book at carla@carlacapshaw.com. I probably won't get my copies until June or so, but I'll send it as soon as it arrives. I really appreciate it!

I'm off to read your newest post.

Cheers and blessings!!
