Book Blogger Hop, hosted by crazy for books has a different question wach week. This week it's:
"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"
I think they are equally important. A bunch of really strong and realistic characters can make a thin plot-line look ridiculous. On the other hand, if the characters are unlikeable or unrealistic, it will ruin the book for me, even if the plot of the story sounded really interesting at first.
Since I believe a good story is to a great extend character-driven, there can be no separation between characters and plot. If the one is weak, the other will suffer and the whole thing will be unbalanced on top of everything else.
Have a nice Sunday and go sign the Hop!!
God bless :)
