End of 2010 Survey

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a relaxing and warm holiday season.
I am participating in this meme, hosted by The Perpetual Page-Turner, about books I read in 2010. So, here goes:

Northpointe Chalet by Debra White Smith (this one was actually so but, that I am not sure that it qualifies under the category 'book'.... )

3. Most Disappointing Book of 2010
Wildthorn by Jane Eagland

4. Most surprising (in a good way!) book of 2010
Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn (it was absolutely amazing, I was blown away by it!!!)

5. Book you recommended to people most in 2010
Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge (I recommended it to almost everyone I know, from family to almost-strangers.)

6. Best series you discovered in 2010
Wings-Spells by Aprilynne Pike (I'm not sure what the name of the series is)

7. Favorite new authors you discovered in 2010
Alex Flinn (I read A Kiss in Time, and absolutely adored it)

8. Most hilarious read of 2010
Friday's Child by Georgette Heyer (I reread it every year almost, and it always makes me laugh so hard...)


9. Most thrilling, unputdownable book in 2010
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

10. Book you most anticipated in 2010
A Tailor-Made Bride by Karen Witemeyer


11. Favorite cover of a book you read in 2010
Everlasting by Angie Frazier

12. Most memorable character in 2010
Zelah Green, from Zelah Green by Vanessa Curtis

13. Most beautifully written book in 2010
The Taste of Sorrow by Jude Morgan (it is the story of the Bronte Sisters)


14. Book that had the greatest impact on you in 2010
The Good Nearby by Nancy Moser 

15. Book you can't believe you waited UNTIL 2010 to finally read
In the Eye of the Storm by Max Lucado (it really helped me and changed me)
